Post Numero Diez Y Seis
Well, today I finally got to write the song that's been mulling around in my heart/head for the last couple of months. Sometimes it takes a little extra something to make a song come out. Anyway, Floyd Collins is still playing--three more shows after tonight!
Lately it's nice to reflect on these passages:
Matthew 6:
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Psalm 91:
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
Let's see what kind of photograph shall I grace your presence with today...
How about this one. It is Thursday after all, so a throwback is called for!!! This is the newsie crew from long ago (1998). Mandee, Shawnna, Kim, Brittney, Jessica, and me!!

Post Numero Quince
This week has been quite busy with rehearsals every night (except for tonight, which was opening night) for the Floyd Collins play in addition to trying to practice, teach 25 lessons and receive two. Come see the play if you can! The remaining dates are:
April 19, 23, 24, 25, 26 at 8pm
April 20, 27 at 2pm
My cute bears, Blair (the white one) and Luther, have been enjoying the slightly warmer weather. In this photo, they're studying Beethoven and keeping me company in Las Vegas (taken last November).

Post Numero Catorce
Yesterday I made bread from scratch! It's pretty good.
Per Brittney's request, here's a picture of Kyle and me! This was on the boardwalk in Coney Island, NYC from July of 2006.
Here's one of my favorite Kyle pictures! I think this was taken when his family was in Alaska, but I'm not sure.

What interesting things go on your salad?
Well, Kyle and I put together some pretty interesting salads tonight! The top one is mine. The ingredients: Romaine, spinich, carrots, tomato, turkey, scrambled egg, peanuts, cashews, mozzerella cheese, wheat goldfish, ranch, and some crumbs of chedder sun chips.

Here's Kyle's salad. His ingredients: Romaine, spinich, carrots, tomato, turkey, scrambled egg, peanuts, cashews, brazil nuts, mozzerella cheese, wheat gold fish, raisins, and salsa.

Post Numero Doce
Being awake at this time of day is "Something Crazy"
And it's crazy when love gets a hold of you
And it's crazy things that love will make you do
And it's crazy but it's true
You really don't know love at all
'Til it's making you do
Something crazy
("Something Crazy" by Steven Curtis Chapman)
Have fun Sam!
