Post Numero 26

I have a home for the fall! My mom, Tiffany (my roommate for next year) and I looked at many many apartments, made tons of calls and avoided the Triangle Fraternity house--even though it was a steal to live so close to campus! Hooray!

Post Numero 25

More posts than I am years old! Hooray! I am enjoying my new home and especially enjoying my little niece! She is so sweet and I'm starting to understand her jargon a little better each day! Soon I'll have another niece! Congratulations to Joe and Janelle!

I'm getting excited about learning more music! The Arts Live Theatre is putting on the Seussical Jr. Musical in August and I will be the rehearsal pianist-picking out vocal parts etc! It will be a very fun summer gig!

Here's some Seussness for your Saturday!

Dr. Seuss Explains Why Computers Sometimes Crash:

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort, And the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.
If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, And the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, And your data is corrupted because the index doesn't hash, Then your situation's hopeless, and your system's gonna crash!
If the label on the cable on the table at your house, Says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, But your packets want to tunnel onto another protocol, That's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall.
And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, So your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse, Then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'Cause as sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang!
When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy on the disk, And the microcode instructions cause unnecessary risk, Then you'll have to flash your memory, and you'll want to RAM your ROM. Quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your mom!

Post Numero 23

Congratulations to my hard-working students on their accomplishments! I had a poor picture of all the participating students; but I'll spare you the fuzzy-dark photo. Instead I'll give you a picture of me holding the two-dozen roses that Kyle gave me when I performed my Senior Recital. Half the number of roses I hold in the picture is the number of students that performed last Saturday!

Post Numero Viente Dos

The past week and a half have been interesting. I walked around two lakes in two days (Think One Republic's Apologize) last week! Lake Atlanta with Kyle last Thursday, and Lake Fayetteville with Sam on Friday! We celebrated Josiah's first birthday yesterday! He's growing up! Here are cousins Derek and Shari with Josiah.
Brittney and Brooklynn having a good time eating at Josiah's party.
Joe and Janelle watching Josiah eat his birthday cake!
Sam and I made some peanut butter chocolatey goodness! Here's Sam putting on her apron!
I'm packing to move and trying to get all my piano students prepared for the Studio Recital-which is this Saturday at 2pm. I'm also getting ready to go to Russellville on Friday. Throughout all this I am endeavoring to sell my Howard Piano without getting scammed and to practice piano and violin! If you're interested or know someone who would like a piano please contact me at unordinaryday@gmail.com $500 OBO.
