Post Numero 58

Today was the first rehearsal of the Singing Sooners--an OU choir devoted partly to singing OU's Spirit Songs (Oklahoma Hail!, Boomer Sooner, Hail to Oklahoma, O. K. Oklahoma!, O. U. Chant) as well as Mozart's Requim, a few jazz charts and some popular selections. Those of you who know me realize how funny this situation might be for a devoted Razorback fan who bemoans even hearing the OU spirit songs, let alone having to sing them! Well, it was the only choir that fit my schedule, and somehow graduating on time (in December) seemed valuable, so I decided to take this silly Sooner Singers business in stride and dress appropriately for the first rehearsal:
At least I'll get a full OU experience! We even have/get to sing at a football game (OU vs. Texas A & M on Nov. 14) halftime show!

GO HOGS GO!!!!

When I get tired of practicing the piano, I just play Hansen's Yoko Ono Piano Drop

(I intend the funny, not sad reaction!)

Yes it's true! 20 Weeks and Counting!

By the way, "The Duggars: 20 and Counting!" is quite enjoyable.
